Review:
I just saw The Lovely Bones today and let stand after that I thought it was a great movie! Well, Ill admit that Peter Jackson was trying a bit too much to dominate the film with CGI, but it takes nothing away from the heart and emotion, this film can generate. First, the quality is absolutely excellent, with good performances throughout. Saoirse Ronan (of my homeland - Ireland) is a revelation as Susie Salmon. I have yet to see a piece of work as talented an actress as young as Natalie Portman L? Next. There is no Oscar nomination worthy really. Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, and of course, Stanley Tucci (one of the best supporting actors today) is conclusive here. I think when the nay-sayers see the level of CGI they lose interest and he forgot what this film really has to offer in nature - the tension, sadness, excitement and joy . If really make an effort to delve into this movie, come up with a tear to the eye. If not, then do not repent be able to look beyond the mistakes and see CGI movie really emotional.
