Review:
Ive heard a lot of Fruitvale station, and has been getting rave extraordinary. And while I think the film is very dense, but I just do not think that its really good. Major events occurred in the third round, and theres nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that if both actions effectively build for it, but I do not think they really do. Acting is not the problem, it just never goes beyond being just enough solid character-written piece. And third innings, while effective, is still kind of disappointing. Ive heard so much about it that made everyone cry and tears flowed like a river down everyones cheeks ... I just do not get it. I appreciate that the film is not overly-sentimental, and the credit goes to not go there for easy access. Finally, I just hope it's more interesting script. Octavia Spencer is the clear stand-outs in this, and I honestly like it here more than in The Help. I would not have a problem with getting Oscar attention, most of her roles.
