I'm bi-polar. I've been this way since I was a young man. I am approaching 60 years. I was in therapy for many years. There are relapses and the time spent in the hospital. There were good times. Before I good treatment, left a trail of emotional, relational and professional disaster for me. It has broken the lives of others as much as my own.I did not know what to expect from this movie. This is an extremely accurate trip in mind the patient's BP. The disease shows the exterior. It is amazing in its accuracy. Mood swings, it's a mistake to learn from past mistakes, the detachment from reality there. Here is a man who is so messed up in the hospital. He is released in the custody of his parents. On improving the physical still can not see what he did, how and what the future promises to any reality.There are other situations in the film that reflects BP's life. There are job losses, broken relationships, unlimited optimism, anger, and a feeling that no one understands you. However, it did not even understand myself. He thinks he's the only sane person around. He is in complete denial even go along with the treatment, just to get along with others.The obsession with his estranged wife is driving. Everything we do is to see yourself desirable her.Then a hair trigger and propensity to violence, which eventually gave the hospital. He believes that he sees with much more clarity than any other. There's also hated medicine and I believe that he does not need them.Yet, there is hope. There is no miracle cure. There is a negotiated peace between her illness and the way must be to survive in the world.The only thing that I thought was missing from crushing depression. But I get it. Depression makes for lousy movies. The film was severely manic life who want to be better, but can not accept that bad off dead center normal.If are bi-polar and under the supervision of, this film to see! If you live or deal with BP, see this movie. If you are healthy, you wont get as BP clouds mind.My new wife and I went to see him. Front I told her that I had a mental illness. She made me still married. It is a health care professional with an understanding of the disease and treatment. After the movie, he asked me what I thought.I told her that I was a little afraid to tell her that the portrayal spot on and I saw all before.But as all patients with bipolar disorder, I wanted to know that I have never been so bad. The truth is that I was .... BP people but we do not deal with the reality that all is well.
